Further charges have been laid against a sex offender who worked undetected in six schools for more than four years.
The 41-year-old man, who cannot be named because of suppression orders, appeared at Auckland District Court today to face new charges of using a false CV at six different schools and for dishonestly using a birth certificate.
The Department of Corrections had already laid charges against the man for breaching his parole conditions after being released from jail following a conviction for sexual offences in 2004.
He was remanded in custody until next month when he face additional charges, the details of which were unavailable.
The names of the schools where he worked cannot be published, but representatives from some will speak at the next hearing.
