Pukaha Mt Bruce has designated May as "Manukura Month" to celebrate the third birthday of its little white kiwi, Manukura.
The kiwi, whose name means "of chiefly status", was born on May 1 and is the only white kiwi who can be viewed by the public.
On May 10 and 11, Mother's Day weekend, people are invited to write their own wish for kiwi and other endangered NZ animals on a special paper feather in the kiwi house.
On May 17 and 18, Pukaha Mt Bruce is offering free entry if your birthday falls on the weekend.
May 24 and 25 involves tree planting in the wetlands, with the public invited to help.
