KEY POINTS:
A street brawl in Hastings involving around 20 people including Mongrel Mob members led to the hospitalisation of an associate and the arrest of two patched members.
Police were called to the fight in Landers Place, Flaxmere, about 7pm last night.
Senior Sergeant Ross Smith said an altercation began at a residential address and spilled out into the street with about 20 men and women involved.
A woman was taken to Hawke's Bay Hospital with moderate arm and back injuries, and police were speaking with her, he said.
Mr Smith said a 39-year-old man had been charged with assaulting a female and a 31-year-old man with obstruction and offensive behaviour.
Both were due to appear in Hastings District Court on May 31.
