Up to $400,000 will be available next year to community groups wanting to enhance their knowledge of the Treaty of Waitangi.
In this year's Budget the Government set aside $6.48 million over three years to develop the Treaty of Waitangi Information Programme.
State Services Commissioner Michael Wintringham said yesterday that the sponsorship could help with seminars, workshops or hui.
