'Moderate' 4.5 earthquake hits Seddon

Seddon has been shaken by a moderate earthquake.

According to GeoNet, the quake of 4.5 magnitude struck at a depth of 11km about 20km south of the town at 8.12am.

More than 840 people have reported that they felt the quake.
