Mercedes-Benz has published pre-release pictures of its new C-class-based coupe, the CLC - sort of.
As part of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin, an image has been created using top model Eva Padberg and the CLC. However, the photo shows only a section of the front of the car, with most of the body hidden by the yellow fabric of the gown worn by Padberg. The CLC will be revealed in full later this month.
It will be launched in Europe mid-year. A replacement for the C-class Sports Coupe, 1100 components have been either developed for the new model or refined from the previous version. Technical highlights include direct steering, modern infotainment systems with colour display, and a more powerful four-cylinder engine with 135kW.
Fuel consumption is up to 10.8 per cent better than in the predecessor model.
