A man involved in a collision between a light truck and his mobility scooter yesterday has died in hospital.
Police said the 88-year-old man was crossing at the intersection of Bush Road and Gordon Road, Mosgiel, on a mobility scooter about 2.50pm yesterday when the collision occurred.
He was taken to Dunedin Hospital in a critical condition and has died today.
Police last night said the truck driver had been interviewed by police, and two witnesses had also been spoken to.
Investigations were continuing in to the crash.
