Mobile phone masts get nod from Council

The Manukau City Council last night agreed to a request from Vodafone to put eight mobile telephone cell masts on major roads in the city.

The sites are on road berms owned by the council.

Resource consent applications will not be notified, meaning there will be no public input into their establishment.
