Police seized drug-making equipment from a vehicle last night after a brief pursuit through Auckland.
The chase began just before 9pm after the driver of a car refused to pull over after going through a red light in Mt Eden.
The car lost a rear wheel during the nine-minute pursuit, and came to a stop on Pah Rd, Royal Oak.
Inspector Gavin Macdonald said police discovered a clandestine-lab in the car, which was used to make methamphetamine.
The driver, the sole occupant, was taken into custody.
