Wanganui's top detective believes a large group of people know who killed 2-year-old shooting victim Jhia Te Tua three weeks ago and are not fronting up to police.
Detective Senior Sergeant Chris Bensemann said he was confident a large proportion of Mongrel Mob members knew who the killer was and should assist police with information.
He said the investigation team had been left with the impression members of the gang didn't understand the consequences of Jhia's death and had displayed "complete arrogance".
