KEY POINTS:
The Mongrel Mob have been linked to an "Aladdin's cave" of stolen property found during a police raid in Blenheim.
Inspector Steve Caldwell said the stolen property was found at a house on Friday after burglars were disturbed at another house nearby.
Search warrants were also executed at three other properties and further stolen goods were recovered.
Mr Caldwell said the haul, including laptop computers, electronics, jewellery and other goods, was taken over the past couple of months in raids targeting foreign vineyards workers in the region.
He said a 19-year-old man was arrested and would be charged in relation to up to 10 burglaries, and police believed they knew the identities of others involved.
Further arrests were expected, along with further charges relating to burglaries and receiving stolen property.
Mr Caldwell said the burglars were linked to two factions of the Mongrel Mob in Blenheim.
The 19-year-old was due in Blenheim District Court today after being held in custody over the weekend.
