The blokes at the Henley Men's Shed should be warm this winter, thanks to a gift from Masterton Mitre10 Mega.
They have been given a $700 wall heater, which has been installed in the new multi-media room.
Formally handing the heater over to shed co-ordinator John Bush, Mitre 10 Mega general manager Brent Stewart said it was nice to be associated with a non-profit organisation like the Men's Shed, which was fulfilling an important role in the community.
"When I look around, I know the faces " these guys are all customers of Mitre10," he said. "It's good to support the people who support us."
Mr Stewart and Mitre 10 Mega trade sales representative Blair Smith were given a tour of the growing Men's Shed, which has added a large wood-working machinery department and the multi-media room in recent months. The shed will host the national Men's Shed gathering in April.
