KEY POINTS:
The search continues for a Rotorua woman who has been missing since Friday. Forty-nine-year-old Elaine Mander was last seen heading into a large forest between Rotorua and Taupo.
It is thought she may be travelling in a 1982 blue Mitsubishi saloon, registration KR6499.
Senior Sergeant Tony Colby says the woman has a history of disappearing, but police are still treating her disappearance seriously.
The public are being urged to contact police with any information on her whereabouts.
Police say Ms Mander needs urgent medical attention.
