Missing woman found

A missing South Auckland woman whose need for medication had concerned police has been found safe and well.

Police earlier said fears were growing for Shaylah Huriana Akuhata, 18, and her friend Jasmine Cassidy, 21, who were last seen in Karangahape Rd, Auckland, early yesterday after leaving their Otahuhu homes for a night out.

Ms Akuhata was said to be overdue for medication.

However, police have since issued a statement saying that Ms Akuhata has been found safe and well.
