Missing woman found with friend

Sandringham woman Nikita Bhai, who disappeared on Friday afternoon, is safe and well.

There were concerns for the 22-year-old's safety after a man tried to abduct two women in Western Springs on the same day.

Police told Miss Bhai's mother, Mandakini, last night that her daughter had been staying with a friend and was well.

"It's good news for us as long as she is okay," said Mrs Bhai.

Nikita Bhai left home last week after arguing with her brother.

She and her mother will be reunited tomorrow.
