A man missing in Whanganui tonight has been found, police say.
Norman Jones disappeared from Liverpool St about 6pm and land search and rescue teams began scouring the area near his home.
However, the 84-year-old has since been found safe and well.
"Police would like to thank the public for their response which helped them to locate Mr Jones."
