Two men missing in the Waitakere Ranges have been found safe and well.
The men, aged in their 50s and 60s, were experienced trampers who left Waiatarua at 8am yesterday.
The men didn't return as expected at 3pm, and Search and Rescue personnel were sent out at 7.30pm.
The men were not prepared to spend the night in the bush but a police spokeswoman told APNZ the men had been found safe and well this morning.
