A 13-year-old missing for a week in Whanganui has been found "safe and well".
Topine Horomona had been last seen on Tuesday August 12 when he was dropped off at a karate lesson on Ridgeway Street.
Senior Sergeant Paul Baskett said earlier today that Topine's family were "sick with worry".
"Topine was dropped off at his karate lesson at approximately 5:30pm and despite our inquiries and appeals and the efforts from his family and local media, we have not been able to locate him.
"We have been in contact with his caregiver and family to understand his behaviour prior to his disappearance," Mr Baskett said.
