A man reported missing after leaving Hastings to drive to Rotorua is safe.
Police had serious concerns for his safety after he wasn't seen or heard from after leaving Hastings at 10pm last night.The man, who police did not name, was last seen in Hastings and was driving home to Rotorua but didn't show up.
Police said late tonight the man had contacted his family.
"He is safe and well in Napier and speaking with police."
