A mother and daughter, missing since Friday, walked into Porirua police station this afternoon alleviating concerns for their wellbeing.
Police and Child Youth and Family had been searching for 11-year-old Hollie Henderson-Drew who was last seen at her school in Levin on Friday afternoon.
They believed she had been picked up by her mother Toni Henderson, 39, of Porirua, who was avoiding detection.
A Porirua police spokesman told NZPA Ms Henderson arrived at the station with Hollie about 1pm today.
He said Hollie appeared to be unharmed and the pair were being interviewed.
Further details were expected this afternoon.
