Missing mother and toddler found

A young Porirua woman and her toddler, missing since Friday evening, have been found.

Police said that Devon Campbell, 21, and her three-year-old son William walked into Porirua Police Station last night.

A search was mounted after Ms Campbell's partner arrived home about 4am Saturday to find her and William and their blue Honda Accord gone.

She was last seen when she dropped her partner off at work between 5pm and 6pm Friday.

Police said it was out of character for her to be missing for so long and they were concerned for her safety.
