A man who went missing from his home on Auckland's North Shore in October is dead.
Eric Jason Shedlock, known as Jason, was last seen on October 9 at his home in the suburb of Forrest Hill.
Mr Shedlock, 41, was reported missing on October 21 and police had held grave fears for his safety.
He used to work in the construction industry in a variety of roles, include rigging, scaffolding, and dismantling large factories and warehouses.
Police were unable to provide details about what happened to him.
His funeral will be held tomorrow in south Auckland.
