Missing-man case reopens

Police are reopening their search for a 60-year-old man missing for more than a year, saying they are not convinced he is dead.

Matthew Alexander Hamill, from Northern Ireland, left a suicide note in his unlocked car at the Roaring Meg River lookout, between Queenstown and Cromwell, on October 29 last year, Detective Matt Jones of Queenstown CIB said.
