KEY POINTS:
A nine-year-old girl who sparked an urgent search in Northland after going missing from her home last night has been found.
Police said Tabitha Mason, from Raumanga, was found safe by a member of the public in a bush area by a track off Kauika Rd west, Woodhill, about 10.30am.
She was cold and hungry and medical staff were assessing her condition.
Police said they were grateful for the public response to Tabitha's disappearance.
