KEY POINTS:
Police are stepping up their investigation into the disappearance of a 28-year-old Christchurch woman after confirming she was known to have connections to a gang.
Tisha Lowry has now been missing for 11 days. She was last seen walking from a bottle store in the suburb of Aranui, to her grandfather's house in Hampshire St.
Police would like to talk with a man who is thought to have walked with her.
He is described as being in his 20s or 30s, dark skinned, possibly Maori, with dark hair cut in a number one style.
He was thin and wearing jeans.
Detective Senior Sergeant Virginia Le Bas says more searches are underway today.
Police would also like to hear from anyone who was with Ms Lowry at the Bower Ave Tavern in the days before she disappeared.
