An autistic boy who went missing yesterday has been found drowned in a swimming pool near his Feilding home.
William Archer, 11, was discovered dead in the pool around 11.15pm last night, only a few doors down from his family house, senior sergeant Marc Clausen said.
Police and the local community had been searching for the child from around 3pm.
