A man missing from a hospital with a life-threatening head injury has been found.
Police say Leni Namono was found overnight after he discharged himself from Middlemore Hospital yesterday.
There were concerns for his safety as he was suffering from a head injury which had caused bleeding to his brain.
Police said the 48-year-old was now back in hospital and receiving the necessary medical treatment.
They thanked everyone who helped find the missing patient.
