An elderly and frail woman who disappeared from her home in the Auckland suburb of Freeman's Bay yesterday has been found.
Police said she was located safe and well this afternoon and is in the company of a family member.
Earlier they said the 90-year-old Chinese woman is frail, does not speak English and is deaf, said police today.
Search teams were out overnight after she was reported missing from her home in Hepburn Street, Freemans Bay.
She was last seen by relatives at 5pm and when they returned at 8.30pm she was missing.
She has white hair, is about 160cm tall and is thought to be wearing a green jacket, brown trousers and red sports shoes.
Police said they had growing fears for her safety and said anyone who had seen her should call police immediately.
