A 4-year-old girl who had gone missing from a rural property in Northland was found alive and well this evening.
Northland police confirmed the girl was found by searchers about 8.45pm.
"Her family are understandably relieved to have her back safe and well, and Police want to thank all those who assisted in the search," a statement said.
"Police would also like to thank members of the public who offered their support for the search."
