Missiles hit bus windscreen

The driver of a bus hit by missiles from a Porirua overbridge at the weekend thinks a car driver would have been killed.

Colin Simpson of Titahi Bay Tours and Charters was taking around 45 partygoers home about 1am on Sunday when two missiles hit the bus's windscreen.

"The glancing blow I got is nothing like a car would have got," he said.
