A person has suffered minor burns in a house fire in Motueka tonight.
Fire Service spokesman Andrew Norris said five crews were called to the incident just before 7pm.
The blaze was well evolved when the firefighters arrived, he said.
It has now been extinguished and the team was still
onsite "dampening down hot spots" at the moment, he said.
The fire was not being treated as suspicious, he said.
