Mini's racy JCW range is expanding, although there is no official word.
Shop floor sources say the reaction to the Countryman-based Paceman has been better than expected and, as a result, the John Cooper Works version is on the radar for release here.
The Paceman is bigger than the traditional Mini, aimed at the crossover SUV market.
Current JCW models available here are the Mini, Coupe and Roadster, which leaves us without go-fast versions of the stroppy little GP, the Clubman, Convertible, Countryman and, for the moment, the Paceman.
Only two-wheel-drive versions of Paceman are available although if the JCW model lands it is highly likely to be running atop Mini's All4 system.
