A mini bus carrying 13 passengers has crashed after a puncturing a tyre on state highway 5 in Rotorua.
Rotorua constable Russell Lyle said emergency services were called at about 8.26am.
He said the vehicle was travelling south towards Rotorua when one of the front tyres punctured which caused the vehicle to travel across the centre line and towards the northbound lane and onto the grass.
There were no reports on injuries. Constable Lyle said there was a temporary closure to the northbound lane with 'stop' and 'go' signs directing traffic. Police were still on the scene.
