Millie Elder is is back before the courts after an alleged altercation with police trying to arrest her gang-connected boyfriend.
Police said Elder, 21, was arrested last week and was charged with obstruction after she came out of her Henderson house to find police arresting her partner Connor Morris.
Morris - whose father is a Headhunter gang member - is facing drugs and weapons charges.
Elder declined an interview with the Herald on Sunday. But her lawyer Chris Comeskey said the "frequency" of her charges was "annoying".
He questioned whether the level of attention Elder got from police was fair or "some sort of vendetta".
Comeskey said the charge was "minor" and the fact Elder had been bailed reflected that.
Elder was also arrested in central Auckland last month. She appeared in the Auckland District Court on seven charges including obstruction and possession of methamphetamine.
