Broadcaster Paul Holmes' stepdaughter Millie Elder will try to get drug charges against her thrown out later this year over the legality of a search warrant.
Elder and her boyfriend Connor Morris, both 20, reappeared in Auckland District Court today facing a charge of possessing methamphetamine.
Their lawyer Owen Harold said he wanted to challenge the legality of the search warrant.
It will be challenged at a defended hearing at Auckland District Court in late June. If the charge is not thrown out the substantive defended hearing will be held immediately afterwards.
Elder, wearing a white singlet and jeans, and Morris, wearing a black t-shirt, were remanded on bail.
