Millie Elder, stepdaughter of broadcaster Paul Holmes, has had a charge of possessing methamphetamine with intent to supply dropped.
When Elder, 20, and Connor Morris, 20, reappeared in Auckland District Court today the charge against both of them was withdrawn and replaced with the lesser possession charge.
The supply of drugs carried a maximum sentence of life in prison while a possession conviction carries a maximum three months in prison.
The pair entered not guilty pleas and were remanded on bail to reside at the same residential address until their next appearance on February 17.
