The daughter of broadcaster Paul Holmes is in court this morning to fight drugs charges.
Millie Elder has been charged with possessing methamphetamine, cannabis, a pipe and obstructing a police officer.
She has pleaded not guilty.
Ms Elder was with a group of friends in December 2009 and driving a Mercedes when police approached her.
Constable Julian Donaldson said he spotted a friend of Ms Elder drinking a vodka cruiser when he approached the group.
He said Ms Elder got out of the car and phoned her lawyer.
She then ran off.
