KEY POINTS:
Millie Elder, stepdaughter of broadcaster Paul Holmes, today had four charges of breaching a supervision order withdrawn.
However, three other charges over alleged breaches of the same order, which was placed on her for drug convictions, remained, with the matter due back in Auckland District Court on January 23.
Judge Emma Aitken told Elder, 20, that the adjournment was to give her the opportunity to comply with the terms of the order.
How the case was determined next month would depend on how well she complied with the order.
Elder had pleaded not guilty to all seven charges.
In March, Elder was sentenced to 12 months' supervision after being convicted of possessing methamphetamine and a pipe, and allowing her flat to be used for consumption of drugs.
Her lawyer, Jesse Soondram, told the court an application had been made for the sentence to be cancelled.
Elder is also due to appear in court in February on a separate matter.
She and Connor Morris, 20, are jointly charged with possessing methamphetamine.
After their arrest in September, the pair were originally charged with possessing the drug for supply, but last month had that count withdrawn and replaced with the lesser possession count.
They pleaded not guilty and were remanded on bail.
Morris was in court to support Elder today.
