Milford Track death

An elderly Australian collapsed and died at the weekend while walking the Milford Track, despite efforts to save him.

Police said the 75-year-old and his daughter, both of Adelaide, had reached the summit of McKinnon Pass about 10:30am on Saturday when it was believed the man suffered a heart attack.
