Mihirangi 'Queen of Loops' Fleming is bringing to Masterton a unique show she has already performed astride a Mayan pyramid and beneath an Antarctic midnight sun.
Fleming will play the Horseshoe Cafe Bar & Restaurant on January 26 as part of a national summer tour in support of her second studio album Somebody Shake The Tree.
Promoter Dannii Vallely-Te Kani said Fleming had had an expansive performance career over the past seven years, having performed at more than 50 international music festivals.
"She is a dynamic musician as much of her live acts are in freestyle form; as in, made up on the spot. Once you experience Mihirangi's empowering live loop show, you'll be hooked into her organic earthy vibe and captivated by her stunning vocal performance," Ms Vallely-Te Kani said.
She said Fleming traced ancestral links to Ngati Rakeiora, Ngati Waikorara, Ngati Rahiri and Ngati Raukawa and grew up in the Waikato farming town of Benneydale, where she was raised by musician parents.
