New Zealand jeweller Michael Hill has won three awards for his luxury 34m superyacht.
The boat, named VvS1 after a high grade of almost flawless diamond, won the Best Motor Yacht, Best Interior and Best Functionality categories at the World Yacht Awards in Cannes.
VvS1, launched in April 2007, has three levels, plus a sheltered top deck.
It has a teppanyaki (Japanese hot plate) bar and barbecue area on the top deck, plus a deck lounge.
The yacht has a main bedroom suite and two staterooms, a captain's cabin, lounge/study, a gymnasium, cinema, formal saloon, bar, outdoor dining area, gamefishing cockpit and crew area.
There are also two smaller boats, including a 6.5m tender that can be used for "serious fishing and expeditions away from the mother ship".
And there is a range of water toys such as scuba equipment, snorkelling gear, kayaks, fishing gear, waterskis and a wakeboard.
VvS1 has a maximum speed of 13 knots and a cruising speed of 11.7.
Alloy Yachts of Auckland built the boat to a design by Canadian naval architect Gregory Marshall.
The boat also won a World Superyacht Award in Venice this year in the category Best Displacement Motor Yacht of below 500 Gross Tonnage
