MetService is warning of another burst of unsettled spring weather tomorrow.
It's expecting heavy rain in western areas from Fiordland to the central North Island, and strong or gale northwesterlies over central New Zealand.
Snow is expected down to 200m to 400m in the south of the country.
MetService says although the cold snap is expected to be short, it has the potential to cause disruption to farmers and people travelling on higher roads and passes.
