Wellington Police have seized firearms, cash, chemicals and laboratory equipment in various methamphetamine lab raids around the region this morning.
Detective Senior Sergeant Darrin Thompson says three search warrants were carried out simultaneously at addresses in Upper Hutt, Porirua, and Featherston.
A 34 year-old Upper Hutt man, a 35 year-old Featherston man and a 32 year-old Porirua man have all been charged with drug offences.
Detective Senior Sergeant Thompson says specialists were used to enter the premises because of the volatile and hazardous nature of clandestine labs.
