Meth seized from West Auckland gang HQ

Police have seized more than $1 million of methamphetamine, or P, after a raid on the Head Hunter gang's West Auckland headquarters overnight.

Eight people were also arrested and were due to appear in Waitakere District Court today on a variety of charges.

"This seizure will seriously impact upon the supply of methamphetamine in the Auckland area," Waitakere area commander Inspector Gary Davey said.

"This is an incredibly damaging drug and police remain committed to disrupting its distribution."
