Sometimes looking at videos of kittens on YouTube on your boss's time is just not enough to get you through the day.
So the SPCA and Uber have banded together to deliver kittens across Auckland and Wellington today.
This means that between noon and 4pm, app-based taxi service users will be able to book a "kitten car" for $30, which will bring a special delivery of feline joy, complete with SPCA staff member chaperone to your workplace.
Each kitten delivery lasts 15 minutes, delivery will be of between two and three kittens.
All proceeds go to the SPCA and Uber says the promotion is a bid to help raise awareness of the importance of pet adoption - especially in the lead-up to Christmas, when animal shelters can hit kitten capacity.
