Mental health crisis review

A coroner has called for the Hutt Valley District Health Board to review its mental health crisis systems after a student was left to assess a depressed man who killed himself 11 days later.

James David Barnden, 31, was found dead in his home in June 2007, two days before a follow-up appointment.
