Xmas demand for the latest tricks, thrills and toys continues, yet Santa may need a bigger sack this year as adults are looking for something a little hairier in their stockings .
"Dear Santa, I would like an X-Box for Christmas. My mum would like a man," said one caller to Telecom's Santaline.
"Listen Santa, I want a new man this Xmas. I broke the last one" and "Hi Santa, I have been very good this year ... I would like a new man for Christmas and the New Year please," requested others.
The Christmas telephone campaign - launched in 1993 - has received almost 1000 e-mails and requests already this year, with thousands more expected in the lead-up to Christmas, Telecom said in a statement.
The children's top five remain as conservative as ever - bikes, clothes, mobile phones with airtime credit, Bratz dolls, Lego - but some correspondents were a little more specific.
One detailed her virtues - ' 'babysitting for the grandchildren lots... not blinked an eye when they have puked up on my carpet... washed heaps of the old fella's smelly socks and not complained (much), cooked, cleaned and dusted - and in return just wanted "a little someone" to fire up her Xmas.
"Could you please send me an elf to do the dishes? Make him a cute little sexy one, and I would prefer that he cannot talk, burp or talk about rugby or politics," she wrote.
