Two gang associates who fled from the cells at Manukau District Court in south Auckland on Wednesday remained at large this morning.
Polie described Perry Bristow, 26, and Vincent Geros, 23, as dangerous and said they should not be approached.
The pair was due to appear in court on aggravated robbery charges but they escaped as they were being escorted from the cells to the court by security guards and were last seen running from the court complex.
Police warned that Bristow, who was affiliated to the Killer Bees gang, may have access to guns.
Geros had connections with Northland Black Power.
Police urged anyone knowing where they were to contact them or call Crimestoppers.
