Men arrested after air rifle pulled on car

Three men were arrested in New Plymouth last night after pulling an air rifle on the occupants of a car around 10.40pm.

The men, two aged 18 and the other 20, had earlier been launching fireworks at cars in the Bell Block area, Sergeant Thomas McIntyre of New Plymouth police said.

A witness took the car's registration and the men were located later last night.

They were scheduled to appear in New Plymouth District Court tomorrow.
