Two young men accused of robbing French tourists in Dargaville have appeared in court.
Te Ahu Belle, 19, and Glen Inglis, 18, are facing two charges of aggravated robbery, one of possession of cannabis plant and another of possession of cannabis plant for supply.
Both appeared in the Whangarei District Court on Monday and were remanded on bail to re-appear in Dargaville District Court on May 26.
They allegedly threatened a male and a female tourist who were sleeping in their car early
Sunday and made off with about $300 cash. The money was recovered.
